In 2019 Barbara was chosen as the Top Customer Service Consultant of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals.

Also in 2019, Barbara was awarded the CSP® (Certified Speaking Professional™) from the National Speaker’s Association. Barbara is one of only three women in the world to have achieved BOTH this designation as well as the Toastmaster Accredited Speaker designation.

In 2021, Barbara achieved the Certified Patient Experience Professional “CPXP”) designation from the Patient Experience Institute.

In March of 2021, Barbara was curious about how the pandemic was impacting the patient experience from the standpoint of the medical professional. So, in that month, Barbara began interviewing healthcare professionals throughout the United States (and one in Canada and one in Turkey). To date, 86 interviews have been completed. Barbara learned MANY insightful ideas on improving the patient experience – but she was the only one who knew this great information. For this reason, she formed the “Improve Patient Experience Center” to allow medical professionals to share with each other for the benefit of hundreds of practices and thousands of people.
